Which Should I get?

Has anyone used either of these two racks? Which one should i get?

The Yakima Big Horn 4 or the Hollywood Road Runner HR 310?

they look pretty much the same. If you can take a look at them and see which one seems to be better quality.

The Road Runner has tie downs at the bottom and has collapsable arms. Is that a big deal?

I don't know about the tie downs(I have very limited knowledge on bike racks) but since it has collapsable(sp?) arms it will be more compact and easier to store when not in use.

The strps on the Yakima rack look like the same type on the Yakima trunk racks. My experience with these rubber tie downs is they tend to deteriorate quickly in the sun. They develop cracks and you get black rubber on your hands when using them.

If you go with the Yakima, be sure not to leave the straps on the rack when not transporting bikes.

I'm still considering that. I am also thinking about the Sportworks Mod Series.
