Favorite COLOR to buy in a bike?

If you had your choice in color of bike, what color would you go with?

personally, I love white bikes...I think they look the cleanest/slickest.

Silver, Charcoal & black are all nice too..sometimes a variation of green or candy red, but WHITE tops them all imo.

I prefer straight unpainted titanium.

If I had to have paint, I love black, followed by silver.

I love my yellow mountain bike.

I think blue and white road bikes are sexy as can be.

Titanium, no paint, no decals, no headbadge.

Otherwise, anodized black- durable, easy to clean and understated.

I am not really too picky about the bikes color, as long as all of the components are silver.

I am a bit of a retro-grouch, and nothing bugs me more about modern bikes as much as all of the things being black that are "supposed" to be silver.

I really like the brown w/ metal flake color of my greenway/hybrid bike but I don't think it would work for all bikes. It compliments the black seat/bars/rack and matte silver fenders.

I'm very indifferent about the dark grey color of my mountain bike. I do find the Felt logo incredibly hard to read though. I had to ask the guy at the shop "What brand is this bicycle?" when I was test riding it.

I just ordered a bright orange single speed because I think the smaller tubing of road bikes looks better in more vibrant colors.

When this steel frame of the new SS needs to be 'refreshed' to avoid rust I'm thinking hunter green powdercoating would be classy.

Hee. I think if I could pick anything, I'd go with some of the colours that are my favourites on cars as well. Dark berry reds, metallic plummy purples, stormy blues and graphites.

Stealth black, of course. Although I confess to a bit of envy for Mr Beanz' Blue Angels blue and yellow bike.

Dis one?...I usually find good deals on blue bikes. Don't plan it that way but most my bikes are blue or partial blue!

But when it comes down to it, I like anything but red or flourescent green!

Chartreuse is my favorite. Someone on the forum has a Jack Taylor in Chartreuse that is spectacular. If they see this, please post a picture.

For go-fast bikes, deep blues, reds, bronzes and black accents.

For cruisy stuff, I like a nice cream colour.

Yeah, but then u can't put a white saddle/white tape on it, it would look too much like ghost busters!

Can't stand white bikes, or white cars, either. They look...unfinished, or something. My Atlantis is light green, like Bianchi celeste except Rivendell says it's not. The Rambouillet is a nice metallic copper-orange, and my Cannondale MB is blue. Those bikes came in those colors, though; no choice.
If I were ordering a custom bike, I'd consider a really bright orange or a flashy but darkish metallic green. No blue (I already have two blue bikes), no black. Silver's nice but too common.

I like two colors that go well together like the blue and yellow lemond above or a red and white etape

White. Otherwise black...I'd rather pick different accessories to add color.

Another vote for silver and/or white. Luckily my next bike will be white with black lettering. My current ride is pretty damn ugly.

Black and very dark shades always look ok, but don't really pop.

I loved my white Raleigh when I first got it, but there are days when I think it's kinda boring. Not often, but sometimes.

For some reason, this shade of blue seems so natural for a bike. Love this color.

Specialized's Langster New York looks so damn good! Too bad I'm not all that into single speeds.

Black, gray, or silver. I like a clean bike. My next bike will be a dark steel blue, which is as much color as I want.

+1. Just tired of scratched and chipped paint.

I liked my Arancio Orange Serotta Fierte very much. Very classy and unique.
