Cannondale M300 at pawn shop $150

i am looking for a trail/commuter bike and i had the opportunity to buy a drak green Cannondale M300 at a pawn shop today for $150. it needs a new tube on the back and probably new grips. it has grip-shifters and a 1 1/8" threadless headset. i tried to talk them down to $125 but $150 was as low as they could go. i might go back but i am weary as to what else might be wrong with it, like something is bent, rusted. or worse, it's stolen. if the bike is toast, i can't get a cash refund, just "store credit."

Copy down the serial number and stop by the police station and ask if they can look it up. Any theft report should be easy to find.

As for other problems, uhhh, , , , -at least you can recycle the frame if it's no good, I guess...... That's called the "adventure" of buying used.

If it's really messed up, then that's what they call a "learning experience".
