Air punp adapter

I was wondering if they make an adapter to fit a standard air compressor, that adapts down to fit the smaller valve stems on a road bike.

They do but the only one I've seen that is commercially available is hyper expensive.

I made my own by taking a schrader tire inflator that has a pressure gauge. I cut the schrader chuck off of the hose and replaced it with a Silca presta chuck.

Unless I am mistaken by your question, I ask for valve adapters at my LBS, and they are pretty cheap; less than a dollar as I recall. All the ones I have seen are cylidrical brass devices that screw on the Presta valve, and the opposite end accepts a Schrader type pump.
