getting the itch to build again
built a steel roadie as my weather/rough road/mup bike last winter.
i've got a hair up my arse to do another build. i'd like a ti or recumbent, but i think i'll go cheap this time. maybe a single-speed with bullhorn bars that i can use for rides around the neighborhood and paths with the family.
i'd prefer steel, but it's not a requirement. i've been doing a search on cheap single speed frames. the surly 1x1 keeps popping up. so does some other cheaper frames like pake, etc.
any suggestions on frames/sources for frames? any advice before i get into this project?
