Penn Cycle, Ericks, Now then Cycle, and Country Cycle are all good. I normally go to the new Penn Cycle in Blaine just because they are close.

Penn, Erick's, and Now are our local chain stores. Decent folks, but nothing you can't duplicate elsewhere.

We have a plethora of local shops, each with it's own audience, so to give best advice I'd have to know what flavor of cycling you favor.

World Cycling (a catalog retailer) has their HQ here with a storefront and 10% walk-ins.

Grand Performance, County cycles, Freewheel bike, and Flanders Bros. are all long time local shops where the owner may well wait on you, but there are many more.

WCP has lots of good clothing deals but not much for equipment, unless there is a second showroom that they haven't let me into.

I think that freewheel bicycle carries Surly so you may want to stop by.

Hiawatha Cyclery is a commuter biased small shop. Neat folks.

MN Surly dealers. Since QBP is headquartered here (Surly is one of their brands),we have a ton.

Cars-R-Coffins is pretty unique.
