Marin Terra Linda vs Cannondale Road Warrior 2

I have been shopping online obsessively for a fast-ish bike with flat bars (road bike w/ flat bars, fitness, performance hybrid), and I have narrowed it down to the 2009 Marin Terra Linda, and the 2008 Cannondale Road Warrior 2. What are your thoughts? I will mostly be biking to work (some hills), and on bike trails on the weekends.

Runners up:
Diamondback Clarity 2
Jamis Coda
Giant FCR 3W
Fuji Absolute 3.0

I have the Fuji Absolute 3.0 and love it, especially for the price ($350 from Performance); that said, I haven't tried the other bikes you've listed, and I do plan to upgrade in the spring to a $600-700 hybrid.
