Carpenter, of Walpole Road, Boscombe, who appeared at Dorset magistrates court on Wednesday, said he wanted to send a message out to drivers.
Great. He sent out the message the cyclists are a bunch of extremist a--holes. Just what we need. They need to string this guy up.

Just because he'd been splashed? Far out. Talk about an over-reaction.

Now if someone were to park in the bike lane illegally...without actually damaging their tires...they could be inconvenienced...if you had a valve stem tool...by letting the air out of their tires...by removing the valve stem and tossing it away...if you did two tires, they wouldn't have enough spares to go around...and they would have to call for assistance...just a thought...

Gee, I hope that motorists don't decide to take revenge by slashing bicycle tires.

I agree Chris L, quite the moron.

That would only be taking revenge if they specifically target the moron's tyres. If they target "all bicycles" it's just an excuse to justify their own bigoted prejudices.
