Two 16-year-old males were taken into custody Monday for possession of six stolen bicycles.
According to Chippewa Falls Police: At about 4 p.m. an officer saw the two in front of Chippewa Falls Senior High School, each riding bicycles that matched the description of bicycles reported stolen.
Officers confronted the two and learned the bicycles were the stolen ones and there were four other stolen bicycles back at their residences.
Six stolen bicycles were recovered. The two the juveniles had at the school were returned to the owners and the others taken to police storage.
The two juveniles were booked and released to their mothers and will be referred to juvenile authorities.
They'll be stealing bikes again shortly.
