Does anyone have some info on this?
HI
Sadly my gorgeous GT got stolen, and my brother very kindly bought me a new bike for Xmas. Well when I say new, he went to an auction and found a good condition second hand bike.
The thing is that I cannot find any information anywhere on the make or model of the Bike and was hoping someone could help me.
The bike is a Concept XDS400.
I know it is fairly cheap and cheerful, but was hoping someone could fill me in a bit better, or at least give me some links.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Weirdbeardmt!
Do you mean Concept&Saxson!
They are an English company , mainly specializing in biulding M.T.B. Cyles.
I do not recal the particular model you are stating, I presume it is a mountain bike,
Have you tried checking to see if they have a web site , I am sure they will have, as they are quite familiar here in the U. K.
REGARDS WILLI`C
P.S. By the way . Welcome to the B.F.

Hi, and thanks for your reply Willic,
I have a had a good look around the net for a website (and yes it is Concept) but cannot find anything. Out of all the bike shops (online) I can find Concept, but not the model I have either!
Any other ideas?

Every lane is a bike lane
On a 2nd hand bike, the first thing I'd be doing is taking it to a good bikeshop and getting it checked over to ensure everything is in order. They will probably also be able to answer your question.

As you are aware , Concept cycles are very low end products, cheap and cheerfull as you put it.
If you have concerns about any specific problems with the cycle you have aquired. as ChrisL suggested take it to a L.B.S. and get them to check it over.
Or post your requirments to the mechanics forum , there are plenty of clued up guys here more than willing to give sound advice.
The concept model details you are trying to trace may be rather difficult as these cheap bikes come and go out of production very quickly, as with most products in the low end of the market durability is not there strongest point.
