Bike Biz Question... Wheels

So, a friend is looking into doing some part time wheel building to produce handbuilt, yet less expensive (and I may get into doing a few builds with/for him). How is one to find wholesale sellers of rims and hubs?? We have done some searching on the internets but can't seem to find any.

We are thinking of riding the fixed gear wave for a bit and offer a cheaper handbuilt wheelset. So, something like weinmann on formula.

Any info of where to find this sort of info?

Looks as if you have to have a brick-and-mortar store location, a business phone number, business liability insurance, etc. to set up an account with QBP.
