Cheaper than therapy
I've got several things going on right now that are very stressful. No need to go into any details but sometimes life just ain't fair. I'm sure you've all been there some time in your lives. If it weren't for cycling, I think I'd be in the nuthouse(sorry if that's not PC) right about now. It's hard to escape all the "crap" sometimes but when I'm on the bike everything is "all better". No worries, no stress.... just you, the bike, and the road. The fresh air, sunshine, trees, wildlife, and the physical exhaustion just make me feel like I can take on the world for another day. Some days I just want to keep riding.....off into the sunset.....and never go back. Is it 5 o'clock yet?

I have had those days, we all have, and I absolutely love blowing off some steam on a nice bike ride, and I usually end up happier for the rest of the day.

I can't even begin to explain how cycling helps me deal with my issues. You are right on brother Dragracer!

Yeah, there's nothing like a good ride to get out the stress. Really ticked off? See that big hill coming up? It's toast!
Things will get better. Soon. I hope.

I like cycling when im stressed out too. Usually I go for a ride after I finish a huge project for one of my classes, it helps alot to ease off some of the anxiety i have built up.

That's the way I've been getting through the rough patch I'm having in my life. Whenever I'm thinking about my problems and it hurts too much, ride until I can't feel anything but the pain in my legs.
