So some people still think that you "catch cold" by being out in cold weather??? Actually, the fact that you are on your bike means that you are not using mass transit (also known as rolling petri dishes), so your exposure to the carriers has been diminished.

Lebowski, I don't mean to rain on your parade, but there is lots of winter left. Let's hope we all stay well.

I seldom get sick. I contend it is because I work out of doors and have a pretty decent health level. Being cooped up in a cubicle farm to me is a recipe for disaster. By being outside I am not exposed to every bug that everybody has.

Cycle Year Round
Did you not see the news last week. A new report says our kids SHOULD eat dirt, and worms too.

I'm the same as OP. This is the first winter I haven't gotten sick in a long time. Everybody at work has already gotten sick with a cough of some kind. I inspect apartments and enter anywhere from 5 to 35 inhabited apartments a day so I get my share of exposure.

Being out in cold weather is a stressor and will make it more likely you come down with a cold you're fighting off.
However, cold weather kills viruses, etc. and areas like cars really are petri dish ish. In addition, there's no defense as good as being healthy -- stress-reducing, fitness-enhancing activities such as bicycle riding are plainly good ideas in general.
