55 in Milwaukee
It was 55 degrees in Milwaukee this past weekend. I saw more bicyclists on the road than any time last summer. There is hope for the human race.

It got to 62 here in Iowa City on Sunday. I can't say I saw many cyclists, but I sure was out there. Average high is 29...it was just darn wonderful.

It's 65 here in Baltimore. I just got back from a ride and feel sorry for all my co-workers who probably won't get outside until it's time to go home. It is so beautiful outside!!!
If it would only STAY this temperature....

Man, that's down right cold!!!! Whew, I'm glad I'm in Florida. Our lows last night got all the way down to the 70's, highs today near 82 F. It's supposed to get cold this weekend, predictions are for high only reaching 72 F brrrrrrrrrr!
(just kidding guys, don't mean to rub it in too much! )

Every lane is a bike lane
Well, here in Queensland it's only been around 28-29C the last few days (just under 90F). That is actually unusually cool for this time of year. May those southerly winds continue forever.

Yeah, it was about 60 in Pennsylvania yesterday. The usual Sunday ride (called the Derby) was really big. It's great what some nice weather can do for us.

I was just near the Canadian border last week. We saw flocks of geese in the fields.
That is UNTHINKABLE up here in January - just unbelievable. The geese don't usually return until April or May. If they goof, they die, so I think nature is convinced that this weather isn't a fluke.
It may seem fun to dance in 55 degree weather in Milwaukee, but this is spooky. What will summer be like?
Things 'aint right and I mean that in a big way.

And speaking of birds, I saw the weirdest thing last week. I've seen a few seagulls from time to time in MO., but last week I was out at the farm and saw a flock of literally hundreds of them fly over. Never seen it before around here. They were flying West though.
I read somewhere the other day about the return of El Nino. Might have something to do with it.
