20% off Nashbar????

Has this happend to any of you guys, I was shopping around on Nashbar and I went to check out and they gave me 20% off with no coupon or anything it just had a little note at the bottom saying a 20% discount has been applied, and on top of that it honored the 10% off code. What a good morning.

The same thing just happened to me. I was shopping at performance and went to Nashbar to compare a few prices, and I got the same little note at the bottom of the Nashbar screen saying a 20% discount had been applied!

I tried and get nothing.

Are you signing up with a new account or using an existing one?

I think it was just yesterday or something I wasn't signed in or anything. I've used Nashbar countless times, but it let me do it twice, I forgot a few things from the first order so of course I had to try my luck again and it worked.

Here is the deal... You need to have at least 5 items in your cart for the 20% discount to be applied. When you view your cart it should say "A Discount of 20% has been applied.". On checkout you should be able to use the 10% off coupon TKYM5. I have no clue how long this will be good for. Also, You may need to clear your cookies for this to work.

28% to be exact. 20% off and then 10% off the result of that. Still great deals. As a member of Team Performance you basically get the same thing when there is a 20% coupon to Performance Bike. Effectively 36% off for the rare occasions they have double points days. Combine these deals with both stores pricematching policies and there are some great deals to be had.

Actually, it does look like this is over. If you saw the 20% earlier and still have the cookie, then you will probably still get the discount. If you are just trying it now, it looks like you are out of luck. I tried this on 2 other computers I have that haven't been to Nashbar's site in a while and could not get the discount regardless of what I did.

I think you maybe right, though I did just buy items from Nashbar a week or so ago. But, I tried everything (even went to the inlaws to use the PC) and yes I put more than 5 items into the cart(actually 8 items) - still nothing. I called Nashbar. They said that they had several calls of the 20 % not kicking in. Told me to complete the order put comments into the comment box about the 20% not working (I don't like this much but had to because the main item I wanted was on short supply).

Anyway, I will followp-up with customer service on Monday. Just wanted to let everyone know what I did.

Good luck.

Good luck.

Sorry meant to add the person at Nashbar told me the sale (20% on 5 or more items ) ordered on the web was going to be going for a few more days (4/19 I think). That is what she told me. Hope she was right.

Well so no one does this too. I called the Nashbar customer service earlier today, they said to call back. I did, and found out the sale ended on Friday (5/14) or at least that was when it should have ended according to Nashbar customer service per a few minutes ago. The representitive at Nashbar that I talked to on Saturday was mistaken.

I appologize for the incorrect information provided on Saturday, but that is what the representitive told me and I asked twice. Now, why the discount was applying on Saturday for some folks is a good question.

Do you have a name and time of the person you spoke to Saturday? If so I would call back and demand the 20% simply because the rep told you you could have it.
