Cycling in Napa, CA
the wife and I are planning a trip to Napa, CA in May- we are planning to do a fair amount of cycling while there, my wife is not an avid rider like i am and our daily mileage will probably be limited to approx 20 miles. I wanted to see if anyone had suggestions on where to ride, what to avoid, good bike rental companies etc .

If you don't mind riding hybrids, there are a couple of companies that tour wineries by bicycle. It is pretty fun. I did that a few years ago, but I forget which company we used. They supplied the bikes and everything, we just showed up at the appropriate time.
It was about 20 or 30 miles, flat to gently rolling, with plenty of stops and wine tasting (some wineries had a small additional charge). A van followed the tour to carry any purchases back to the starting point. I think we ended up stopping at 6 wineries.
I only tasted at 2 or 3 wineries, but the tours of the facilities, and the ride made it all good. The person I rode with doesn't drink wine, and she still enjoyed it.
There was a nice lunch included as well with gourmet sandwiches and cheeses.
I think the one we used was in Calistoga.
