Aspire Velotech Road Bike Mirror - Installation Question

To all Aspire Velotech Italian Road Bike Mirror owners, I have a question or two about the installation.

1) Do you need new bar tape or can you use your existing bar tape? On my road bike, the bar tape ends by going into the bar end hole which is then secured by the bar end plug.

2) If your bar tape ends end the bar end, how do you manage to secure the end of the bar tape since it can't go inside the bar end hole? Some kind of tape (electrical)?

Cheers!

I always wrap my bars starting at the ends and working up. I just wrap the tape over itself- it leaves a little "knob" at the end, but it is actually a handy way to feel the end of the bar as I slide down into the drops. As for re-using tape- it depends on your tape. If it has adhesive, it will most likely shred when you remove it. BTW, I love the mirror. Just be sure to ride around for a while with no tape to make sure it is in EXACTLY the right spot before you secure it in place.
