What gloves are you using?

I'm looking for inexpensive gloves for warmer temperatures.

Any suggestions?

TIA

I'm partial the Performance Crochet gloves; however, they are now out of production. When It comes time for new gloves I'm probably going to try the Bike Nashbar equivalents which run 9.99 on sale.

I'm looking for full finger gloves. Something similar to this.

Well, what's wrong with that?

I wear these:

my dad got 'em for me as a present, in white and blue.

I wear 'em all summer, when I'm mountain biking and when road cycling. They look a little overkill road cycling, but that's not what they're meant for.

The rubber strips on the back provide protection from branches + falls.

It depends of your definition of inexpensive but I'm using these:

That is not what you asked. You asked for gloves for warmer temperatures and that what I suggested. :(

Mountain or road? I'm assuming mountain since you want full finger, but you never know...

I like the Fox Unabomber for mountain. Might not meet your inexpensive requirement, but it's worth the extra money.

I'm not saying that something is wrong with them -- I just haven't tried them.

I'm not used to half-finger gloves. That's why I'm leaning towards purchasing full-finger ones. But I might change my mind after trying out some half-finger ones.

Road and bicycle trails.

Take a look in the work-out/weight-lifting section and you find plenty of glove selections there with similar/same padding/construction and weight, half or full fingered, and at lower or comparable pricing to cycling specific gloves. Work, safety, or bikers gloves are another option. Or just buy those Nashbar gloves.

Wheel World is having a sale on Fox gloves:

For inexpensive long fingered gloves, I'd recommend staying away from lbs's and patronize instead big box stores like W/M.

In fact, I'm using a pair of $19 gloves from W/M that have held up remarkably well for 3 seasons, have okay padding, and a large 'terry cloth' swath on each thumb to wipe the nose droppings that invariably happens on cold/cool morning commutes. :p

You'll likely enjoy more the half-finger once you try it.

Eventually I bought a pair of "Fox Incline" gloves at local Campmor store ($20). I like them. Light, good grip.

fingerless with sweat wipes at the thumb, they were $10. at the register at some random bike shop I visited
