Seatpost with shock

Which style of cycling would have the most seatposts with shocks?

Good job on editing that for clarity.
You selling some seatposts?
I'd say style #4 has the most.
Others may disagree.

You could be right, but it varies with the classification system you're using. Under the Belgian system, wouldn't it be style #3?
Actually I almost never see shock posts anywhere. They used to pop up once in awhile before mountain bikes had suspension, and i have a Thudbuster left over from those days, but the only time I see them now is on comfort bikes. Where they aren't necessary because of the fat tires, relaxed geometry and typical use.

Only ever tried a Suspension post on an MTB hardtail once and have reverted to hardtail ever since.

But the thudbuster-- Offroad- long distance enduros- rough tracks and a top speed in excess of 50mph on the downhills. On top of that one of the stiffest aluminium frames you will ever come across. The thudbusters not only works- it is a necessity. And most stokers will agree.

I'm not selling seatposts. I've got an odd size seatpost and I was looking for one with a shock. Mine is a 26.0mm seatpost. The nearest I can get is a 25.4 and a shim. I'm not sure the shim is going to be thin enough.

Maybe you could get a Brooks Champion Flyer. It will probably outlast your bike, and will give you less problems than a cheap suspension seatpost.

if your seat post tube is 26.0 mm this will work for you...
25.4 post....

Then a 25.4 to 26mm shim...

keep in mind how much mast you have sticking out now as the Thudbuster mechanism needs room.

I hated the [27.2mm] suspended seat post on my Raleigh Detour Deluxe. I took it off and replaced it w/ a rigid aluminum piece.

+1 You should give strong consideration to a quality sprung seat.
