Kangaroo

I had a great experiance on my bike this morning.I went through an area that is controled by Sydney Water and came face to face with a grey kangaroo. When he first saw me he stood totaly upright and must have been well over six foot tall.We rode and hopped together for about ten minutes-COOL!

Just as well he was friendly. There was an article in the local press here about a woman who was attacked by a kangaroo in her backyard - Bendigo I think it was. Made quite a mess of her and she ended up in hospital. They're vicious buggers when cornered.

I came across three wallabies bounding towards me in Westerfolds Park (suburban Templestowe) last week -- cute. When they saw me they stopped and went off in a different direction.

You don't get that everyday. Or ever in this part of the planet. Had a momma grizzly and her two cubs eyeball me from the roadside when riding on vacation. I was doing the sprint speed math and getting a bit nervous.

Cripes you had a lucky escape. Next time don't venture out without putting Vegemite behind your ears.

Are you sure that is good enough. Over here we have the original-Marmite- and you either hate it or love it. I'd hate to come across a Roo that loves the stuff.

I have a marvelous photo sent by a friend in Qsld. - Brisbane. It's of a 5 or so years child trying to pet two full-grow 'Roos. Who happen to be making love! I don't know how many of you know this - but this is a great way to kill your kid! Or yourself! LOL.

Another photographer caught the scene - with the 2 laughing parents shouting commands to 'Little Joey' as they snapped their pictures.

I mean - how would YOU like it?

Oz Forever!
