New guy looking for Direction.
I am an old BMX rider. I haven't done it in about 12yrs now. Anyways I nieghbor knew that I like bikes and working on things, so he gave me his old road bike. I want to use this bike to go to the gym and back which is about 5+ miles. I really am liking the look of single gear/ fixed gear bikes. What do you guys think about the bike and the idea of me making it a single speed? What would you do if you had this bike?
