Versatile trunk bike rack

I have a Jeep, Ford F150 and a Saturn Vue. I need a bike rack, does anyone know of 1 rack I can use on the three above? The 150 and the Jeep have hitches. The Vue doesnt, but the Vue is what I will probably have to take on vacations. I have googled searched etc.

Put a hitch on the Vue. Then get a hitch mount rack.

Thanks, that was what I had thought of but that is another couple of hundred bucks. I should not be so cheap all the time.

I've struggled with trunk racks for years and there is nothing versatile about them. They are a hassle to put on and take off, there is plenty of potential for scratching the cars paint from hooks or errant nylon straps, there is potential for scratching up bikes when two are in the rack, and getting into the trunk is an order. I don't even know what would mount securely on the back door of a Saturn Vue. You might go with a roof rack but that would not be cheap and not easily transferred from one car to another.

What demoncyclist said. A 2" hitch will allow a 4 bike platform rack like the Swagman XC-4 Cross Country.
