Cycling inmates.

I wasn't sure where to put this.

"breakaway sprints will not be allowed" LOL! I bet the black and white striped jerseys (or maybe orange jumpsuits) will be da bomb...

Hey, do we know if any of these guys were ... ahh ... ummmm.....

Bike theves? ;)

While I'm all for giving inmates something to do instead of just sitting around fighting and forming gangs all day, I take offense to the idea that people who've committed crimes get an all-expense-paid bike tour in Europe while many law abiding citizens can't afford such things.

I'm a bigger supporter of things that allow inmates to learn the same skills but are more helpful to the community as a whole. Dogs in prison is a great example of this.

How about spending the money on a ride for kids (or teens about to get their drivers license).

Do some road construction programs to build teamwork for the inmates.

Well, to be fair, they are already in Europe.
