Need recommendations on fenders for Giant Cypress

Enough is enough. When riding my Giant Cypress after the rain, I'm returning all wet. My back, *ss and legs are all soaked and dirty.

I'm looking for fenders that will fit my bike and can be installed easily.

Tires: Kenda 700x38 Multi-Surface (that came originally with the bike).

What would you recommend?

Thanks in advance!

Planet Bike is your friend Probably need the Cascadia 29'ers for the tire width you are running. BTW don't work for them, but probably should considering how much of their stuff I own.

Thanks!

Quick peek into the installation manual and I see it doesn't come with the installation tools.

I'll need the 4 mm allen/hex wrench. I believe that the PARK TOOL AWS-10 Folding Hex Set will do it.

Will be the Cascadia Hybrid/Touring fenders too small for 700cx38mm tires??

(It says "Fits tires up to 27"x1 1/4" or 700cx35mm".)

Does anyone know based on his/her personal experience?

Thanks in advance!

They "might" fit the 38's you have. The hybrid Cascadia is 45mm wide which only gives you about 6mm clearance the accepted standard is 10mm+ wider than the tire. Some tires brands are wider than others of the same size. I would see if your LBS has the fenders and hold them up to you wheels and see how they fit. Worst case scenario they won't fit, or possibly be a bit narrow and allow a bit of spray to come out the sides. You can probably get away with the narrower ones, I am about 1000 miles away from my bikes at the moment or I would check the width on some of my fenders vs the tires for you.
