Just finished V1.0 of my zine titled "Bicycle-eye". 22 pages of ethereal bicycling prose, commuting tales, sustainable living choices, snapshots from the saddle, spotlight on a newly converted commuter, bicycle haikus (including some from fellow Bikeforums members), and the very pointless but amusing Bikeforums column, Dear Gonesh9.
If you are interested in receiving a copy, PM or e-mail me and I'll get you hooked up. I'm selling them for $2.00 locally, but am just asking Bikeforums.net members to give however much/little they feel it's worth. If you really can't afford anything, I would be happy to just float you a copy if need be.
Here's a little entry example from the zine....
Remember, this is a great way to support both bicycling and DIY culture!
200 feet above the ground the man in the sky watches me ride on by. I feel the sun kissing my skin sending shivers of warmth of celestial softness from closer within throughout the heart pulsating repeated rhythms of songbird chanting for love or lust or just to sing this ride with feathery weight this path of cloudy misty dew drop from heaven's own eden rushing waterfalls and gypsy caravans in full delight celebrations from beyond the earth and above this life releasing smiles of fantastic beauty essential wonder further reaching beyond into before and between hedonism mingling dadaism creating a whole new world of citrus sunrise and tropical fantasies reality melting animals roaming free coexisting in imagination running rampant no boundaries no end to the dream so wonderful I keep on pedaling.
Sorry for the bump, just wanted to remind y'alls about this.
