New Bike Advice
Need advice on buying a new road bike. I am a 50yr old recreational rider and looking to spend around $1,000+. Among the bikes I have considered:
CAAD9-7
Syanpse 7
Trek 1.2
Trek 1.5
Jamis Ventura Comp
Jamis Satellite
Any suggestions would help

Hey buddy. at that price point they will all be pretty good. Go with the one that fits you best, if they all do, which one looks the coolest, if they all do what shop do you like best. All good, enjoy the choice and let us know.

What sort of rider are you? Do you like to run with roadies, do Centuries, just go for rides of an hour or two on the weekends?
Your bike shop wouldn't have any leftover Jamis Quests from last year, would they? Never got to try one, but I like the looks of it.
Try a Specialized Sequoia. Actually, test ride a bunch of bikes, see what you like.
