Trance Music

I have recently fell in love with this music and it is so awesome to ride to it. During long rides, you just get emotions come through you while you ride. Mods, is it ok to post one or two songs just to show people what I mean? No links to other sites, just a direct download. If you go on youtube and type in trance, you are just wasting your time. The only good trance is the High Quality. Cycling has become so much more amazing after I discovered real trance.

Listen to the first and second as they are both two different kinds of trance if you want more, go to a site called puroeuro.com You might think I am spamming because I posted a link to some site, but this site is very unheard of and there are hundreds of gb of trance on it. It is like two dollars a month to subscribe.

Fine with me, as long as you are not selling the music, etc.

you can check www.di.fm for free radio featuring many genres of electronic music. it's not bad. I use it to find new artists... i find a song i like by an artist, and download a album/mix with them in it - turns out to be pretty good!

I like Psy Trance personally. Infected Mushroom, for example.

edit: That is, if I were to listen to a form of Trance. I prefer Hardcore. You can check it at the website I mentioned.

I actually have more house music than trance on my computer, I really like house and listen to it when I cycle, but trance is what gets me to different state of mind. Sometimes it makes me calm and relaxed, other times, it gets my adrenaline pumping. I recommend both house and trance but trance is what i prefer a little more now.

If I listen to this while riding a bike I would hope that a redneck in a pickup would hit me real quick.

I love trance, too. My favorites (so far) are Enigma, Delerium, and Solarstone.

There is another group called Solar Stone (two words) which appear to be a different outfit that plays house/dance/electronica stuff which I'm not really into.

I enjoy listening to trance music. It can make you relaxed, or in a trance state. It's also one of the types of music that can express so much emotion without any lyrics.
I like Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, and Paul Oakenfold.

Ah just the state a cyclist needs to be in when riding ... in a trance ... not paying attention to what's going on around.

Having been involved in music for many years (I started playing guitar back in the seventies) I have learned that if one thing is true, it's "different strokes for different folks".
People listen to music for different reasons and expect different things from music.

I'm a "roots" type guy, I play blues and 'grass and singer-songwriter stuff. I like clever lyrics and hot licks and improvisation. The sort of music referred to as "trance" or "house" or "industrial" or whatever of dozens of other different sub-genres you might mention are not my cup of tea.
Boring and repetitive. Same applies to most any sort of dance music.
'Druther listen to Son House doing "Death Letter".

But as I say, different strokes. I had a lieutenant once who listened to music only because it put him to sleep. Geez, I listen to music to get excited!
Enjoy!

I don't know if this is trance, or house, or whatever; I just know that I like it, and the artist provides all of their music for free on their website. I liked it so much that I still gave them money for the music, even though it's available for free.

Pretty Lights
