I rode 136 furlongs or about 2.891894e-012 lightyears or just under 8.866409e-013parsecs.

The fiancee and I did 20 miles yesterday and another 20 today. We biked the Leelanau trail plus a bit through Traverse City, MI. Good weather and good times.

8/1 - 44 miles, with some big hills in the middle. Wanted to ride more, but I was beat by the heat (the temperature was in the 90's with high humidity.)
8/2 - no ride. Heavy thunderstorms in the morning and mid day. Afternoon I was at work.

8/2: 246.239 furlongs. Would have gone farther, but the BFFs and I had a date to see the new Harry Potter.

where do you find the time to ride this much? i found myself riding 25 to 30 miles a day... it was eating into my work time so i've had to cut back to an hour a day, and try to get my sweat up by increasing my speed, and in the knob country of southern KY, that ain't easy!

i average 14 to 17 mph depending on the day and conditions. with bursts of 20+ mph on flats, but with stop signs/lights, hills, etc... its all i can do.

a couple of days a week, i use an elliptical walker with the tension cranked up pretty tight. i used to think the glider was a pretty light workout, but after having found the tension adjustment, it ain't so easy but i like getting outside on the bicycle, not as boring.

Yesterday, I was up at 4am and out of the house by 430, I rode 51 miles, averaging about 15 mph. I also stopped at a local lake and went swimming, which was so refreshing that I plan on going again tomorrow.

It was Sunday and I had a lot to do around the house, so I made sure that I left early enough to allow for the longer ride. Plus at that hour, I'm the only one on the road.

8.5 miles to work this morning. Will be over 20 total for the day after the afternoon commute and associated errands.

Then it all starts over again tomorrow!

Furlongs. What are you a horse? Was your ride done "Breezing" or "Handily"?

18.8 miles yesterday. Our bikes are only a couple months old and we've only been riding a couple times before that on used ones I bought on craigslist.
Wife and I and a 22 month old daughter and 3.5 year old son.

ugh... 4:00 a.m.? can't do that (: too many logs to saw... i got a chance to take an early retirement buy out, so i work for myself, and these days, my dog wakes me up nearly promptly every morning at 7:30 to go out, we walk for about 30 minutes and my ride starts about 8:30 after a protein shake and a p-nut butter sandwich for breakfast.

i did almost 15 miles this morning, it was COLD here for early august, about 61 degs! wind chill was pretty cold on sweating skin.

a swim sounds good... you take care, i don't like the idea of anyone swimming by themself, to me, it just doesn't sound safe, and after a ride, i'd be afraid of leg cramps....

bcnu!

21.2km yesterday, and will probably finish today with around 32.2km. All just commuting and various errands.

I have a few routes in and around the city that I have memorized. So depending on how much
time I have to ride I'll pick a route. I know it sounds boring to some but I like to get out there
and ride without thinking so much. I like to know where all of the turns and lights and stuff are
so I don't have to pay too much attention to where I'm going ... anyway today did one of my
"lunch hour" rides, 13 miles, 43 minutes.
