Is this a new style?
You were lucky he was wearing a T-shirt.

On several occasions, I've encountered roadie guys dressed (only) with the following:
1.Helmet
2.Eyewear
3.Gloves
4.Fluorescent T-Back Bikini Pants
5.Socks
6.SPD Shoes

They made me want to scream: AARRRGGGHHHHh, MY EYES!!! MY EYES!!!!!!!!!!!

Years ago, pre motorcycle helmet law, I saw a motorcyclist in Long Beach wearing only a speedo swim suit and thong sandals.

Used to be an older gent riding a bike around Pleasanton, CA who routinely wore only a pair of baggy shorts. He rode barefoot using rubber block pedals.

I have never encountered anyone wearing T back bikini pants fortunately though I understand lots of cyclists at Burning Man, held out at the Black Rock desert in Nevada, wear nada except shoes/sandals.
