Hand Grips

I am looking for new grips that will fit on a bike with grip shifters. these grips need to add some extra cushion in additon to the gloves that i am wearing. Can any of you recommend a "cushier" set of hand grips, or even the ergo type grips that woth fit on a bike equipped with grips shifters.

Thanks.

I've been running grip-type shifters long time.I got tired of finding specific grips for twisters. Now I just get whatever grip I like and cut it to preference(oury-love 'em).Be sure you keep those plastic washers that seprate the grip from the shifter.

See if Ergon make a specific model for gripshift. Their grips are excellent.

Try adjusting your seat angle to take the weight off your hands. You tilt the nose up.

Adjusting the seat-angle is a very good idea for those inclined to suffer numbness from pressure. But do the adjustment in small degrees - starting with your seat totally level. Don't just "tilt the nose up" or you'll likely find a new problem. Slowly does it.

Bikes: Some bikes. Hell, they're all the same, ain't they?

Yup, they do -- they were going to be my suggestion. They even sell a pair for bikes with one shifter.

I've found the Bontrager RXL foam grips work really well with grip shifters too (depending on which you use.)
