Awesome new site for biking

Hi everyone,

Just a heads up. We've just found this free online system for arranging rides and joining rides. Its basically a huge online list of stuff that is open for anyone to join that you can filter. The site is called www.wagaduu.com and you can use it for arranging any sporting event.

I joined in a Whister ride the other day and met a bunch of new (albeit totally nuts) people. We're going to start putting up all our North Shore and Whistler rides from now on, so anyone can join us.

See you out there,

Tom

You have the weirdest junk mail.

For me it's either breast augmentation, penis enhancement or stuff in Portuguese.

Sorry I just realised the service is 'by invite only' for some regions which probably explains why it didn't exist for some of you.

Oh on the subject of useful sites, I also found a great mapping tool for UK rides called www.bikehike.co.uk. You can make you route on ordinance survey and it will tell you all the elevation changes etc..

Careful, Zan, I am well known for forwarding my junk-mail to people who say things like that...

Flags are raised when someone joins BF and on the very first day, the very first post is to tout a web-based service.

Work from home!
$1000 a month - part time!
$1000 a week - full time!

Sure, I believe those signs.

Yup. We see this happen quite often. Usually attached to a long list of cheap Chinese fakes of electronic goods. Or massage. LOL!

I think Bernie Madoff (made off) has inspired crooks everywhere. My email exploded with this "Work From Home! Make a Million in a Week!" crap. People doing that stuff should be stripped naked. Placed in a burlap-bag full of cats. And dropped in a river.

j/k - I wouldn't hurt a puddy-tat.

That's what mailinator.com is for (but registering is still a hassle).

I was a manager on a forum up the way. And we got a real yummy piece of crud. This guy comes in and posts that his daughter - age 3 - had fallen down his well. Because he was behind in his taxes, the fire-department wouldn't help get her out. And he needed money to buy a 40-foot long ladder! The only way he could get the ladder was to have as many people as possible send an email to this web-address he posted and the message saying: YES.

What was this place we'd be emailing 'YES' to? "It's a benevolent Christian charity that helps people if they show that a lot of people think they should help! Tell your friends to write too! Oh woe is me! My baby went down the well!"

I was laughing so hard that it took me 5 minutes to throw this criminal nutbar out the window!
