Giant Road Bike

I hate to be one of those people always asking questions and not being able to answer many, but you guys are so good!

I'm going to take a look at this bike later today.
https://springfield.craigslist.org/bik/1362402637.html

It's a Giant, and I'm not aware of Giant making any terrible bikes. I'm not aware of them being sold at Walmart or anything. I can't quite see the model, but you guys might recognize the pattern. Hopefully you guys can tell me what I'm getting in to! Thanks!

Giant is one of the largest bike manufacturers in the world. Hard to tell the condition from that picture. Fit is the main thing. A bike that doesn't fit is no bargain no matter what the price.

+1

Call the owner and ask what model the bike is and ask if s/he can email some better pictures to you.

This is not a recent bike. And I would be wary of the fit- 19" frame seems tall for a 5'5" rider. The bars are--- Make your own opinion up after trying them.

If it is local to you- then get a test ride but check the wheels for damage or wear and be prepared to get them in for trueing pretty quick.

For a C.L. bike of this age- it seems pricey- but fit and condition is everything.
