Hi everyone . I have a question i just bought a specialized hard rock mtb. The problem i am having is what kind of under shorts to wear Compression shorts or tights ?To stop the discomfort of the boy jewels?
    Thanks.

None. I don't use cycling shorts, but I bet I've seen the answer to this a hunnert times.

ordinary shorts with briefs. If they dangle, they'll tangle.

    Mine never got tangled.

Did you mean the shorts, or . . . ?

Target sells "Cycling briefs". Basically briefs without all the seams or a hole for the boy to peek out of :-)

I use Andiamo men's padded briefs under regular shorts. Love 'em.

If you're wearing cycling shorts (padded) you don't need and want underwear.
If you're wearing street shorts wear cycling underwear, like these.

Regular underwear is for non-cycling activities.
