My word, so few people at college know how to lock up their bike
The bike rack where I park has maybe 50 bikes on it, atleast half of them are locked up incorrectly. I see a majority of them only put the lock through the rack and their front tire, some of them are even just through the spokes, not even around the rim. I'm looking at all these bikes and I'm just thinking, I could take any of these bikes in about 10 seconds. I could cut one spoke and ride off on it. I've also seen a couple that go through the frame and the front wheel, nothing else. I'd say atleast half of them are locked up like that, the rest are good, through the frame, sometimes front or back tire (or both), and the rack.
I've been thinking about taking some bikes, and moving them to some other spot on the rack, with a note that says, 'you should learn to lock up your bike securely.'
