These saddles are about the only thing i see with a big depression in them like the more expensive saddles have. Hoping that someone may have some experience with them?

The F2 would be good if you only ride short distances in a fairly upright position.

Know why there's so many different bicycle saddles? It's because somebody just LOVES every blessed one of them.

Bicycle saddles are personal. If you like it, you like it. If it's uncomfortable for any reason, you don't. Reviews from other users have very limited value. That's true for $10.00 saddles and for $200.00 saddles.

My advice is to save the packaging, keep them if you like them and return them if you don't.

After reading the thread ' Prostatitis --- Yuck!!!! ' http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=231714 in the Fifty Plus forum; it got me to think seriously about numbness etc. It would seem that the hole in the saddle should solve the problem. The picture shows a fairly substantial cavity in the seat to alleviate the pressure on the prostate area.

The F2 seat is working great and is my fave of the two so far.

the F2 is very similar to Terry Cit-E. they are both very good values (around $30) and very comfortable from the get go. however, after about 30 miles the padding starts pushing pretty hard on your taint.

not really an issue if you use this on your commuter, but i wouldn't using it for "touring" like nashbar wants you to think.

not sure i understand. The anatomical hole is fairly large. The seat is a bit wide, but not much. The padding looks big in the picture, in reality it is a lot less than most padded seats. i also use athletic supporter undergarment to complete the effort. We don't ride long distance, so the arse stays in fairly good shape, if thats what your talking about.

It works for me, but willing to find a better solution. So far: none.

I believe they are made at a factory in the Deep South...

Saddles are a very personal item and so are Butts. Until you get the two to get to know each other well- then you will not know if they are going to be friends or not.

I had a prostate problem 8 years ago and it took many years before I found a saddle that was comfy. Even then and the saddle had to be set into the right position on the bike before I could ride without pain. The saddles I use are the hard narrow type with minimal padding. They both have the cutaway and the butt has become attuned to them.

i was expecting solving this problem to be a long drawn out affair; but the Nashbar seats are cheap and work great for me. Athletic support garments are plentiful and the two make biking a doable sport again. We quit biking for a week till i was able to get everything sorted out.
