    Directions by bike comming soon to Google Maps

    From Google Maps blog:

    "cyclists will now find many more trails and paths to explore. Soon we even plan on providing you with biking directions to take advantage of this new data"

    They showed the rig they're using on the Today show this morning. It's a pedal-tricycle with a panoramic camera rig in back of the rider. They didn't mention the weight of the thing, but it looked like it would be a job to get through some of the rougher areas.

    That would be sweet, but I'd much rather have some results when searching for bike trails.
