You could put a bike on that treadmill too!
It would be much better than just riding on the ground.

it would keep your tyres away from the dirt and bad stuff you find on the ground too.

You could even stack them, put a treadmill bike on a treadmill bike so you can ride your
treadmill bike while you're riding your treadmill bike.

Congratulations when you walk you no longer have to touch the ground!
I love the part where they show the guy awkwardly carrying it on the bus as the girl exlaims its ease I can only imagine how ticked off that bus driver was

Check out the other videos from that user, they're pretty funny.
Couchbike, rowing bike, hula bike, pickup truck bike.
Also, "tips for cyclists from a car driver," as she's "driving" her pickup truck bike.

It gets better. You could build a large 4-wheeled version so your horse could go cycling with you - as you rode your bike on your own treadmill bike. Someone would probably have to steer for the horse, though...

honestly, those are all pretty sweet designs. I would love to have the pick up bike. I also love how he's wearing a helmet while using it.

They manage to keep a straight face through most of it, but that is intended as humor. I think they really will sell you a treadmill bike if you insist, the $5,000 is so you don't insist, or make it worth their while if you do. I think you can also rent them for the novelty.

Reminds me of an experience, though. I was in Galveston, Texas, beautiful resort place. I was walking on the seawall, the sun was setting, the cool ocean breezes were blowing, and all in all, it was just hard to imagine a better time or place to be out for a stroll. Then I walked past a gym, and there were people up there on the second floor walking on treadmills. So yeah, they probably would buy the treadmill bike if it was cheap enough.

I just designed an accessory for the treadmill bike: a huge flatscreen monitor that mounts to the handlebars and displays the feed from a camera mounted on the handlebars, so you can watch where you're going while you watch where you're going...

Bet with the right gearing, a rider on that rowing bike could put some serious power to the road.
I've seen a few of those bikes elsewhere, and always wished I could hav the time to play with ideas like they do.

The Elliptigo is an elliptical trainer/bike. I have seen one of the inventors using it in a couple of marathons and century rides I have done. It's a goofy looking thing, but it does go pretty fast.

Looks more like a crank forward unicycle.
