what kind of tape?

ok, i bought the profile cork tape. the tape they provided sucked big time. it's not even sticky at all. so i'm wondering what kind of tape do you guys use? i check with the lbs by my house and they said to use electrical tape.. but i noticed after a while later.. the tape loses it's stickiness and start to pull backwards leaving a part of the tape sticky.

I use colored electrical tape (to match the color of the bar tape) and have never had the problem you decribed.

Go to an electronic parts store and buy the premium electrical tape (about $3/roll), made by 3M I believe. They come in different colors and widths and they will not stretch or start pulling back.

If you find that the electrical tape is retracting, you're probably pulling it too tight... Stretch it less, and it'll pull away less over time.
