People I've missed...

I need to look into some missing persons....

Friends on BikeForums shouldn't be taken for granted!

(And believe it or not, I know Johnny Bravo personally!)

Gus Riley 02-28-02 10:01 PM

Pete, I could have sworn you had more posts than ten! What happened to them?

Rich 03-01-02 02:26 AM

Cheers Pete,

It's always good to have a reminder!

Pete's right.
What happened to Ranger Jake for instance? His last post was in early December.
And dirtsqueezer last posted in August.
And I know there are several others who haven't posted for a while.

What's going on?

Hi Stump. Last time I checked, Bren still ran her Bicycle Forum refuge on Yahoo, although it had not been getting many hits. B'Bob and D'Fox do hang around here, as well.

I miss reading posts by Ivo, I've not seen his name anywhere since bicycleforums shut down.

fubar5 03-04-02 03:35 PM

Well lemme see here...Grover was coolio for awhile but he hasn't been around. Cambronne, where is he? I miss all the ladies we had. Where is GirlznGear? Or Cannondale_chik? oh well, I guess they went and got lives.

I seem to recall Stewart was going to be without Internet Access for a while following change of job, but as for the others???

Richard

fubar5 03-06-02 07:41 AM

I got all the ones Joe mentioned so far.

JonR 03-06-02 10:40 AM

Of course unless they have email notification of PM's turned on, it won't do any good to PM anybody--unless Joe turns it on...

dixiepixie 03-09-02 08:56 PM

Here's one of the females back! Although I wasn't here long before I disappeared! See my post in the Jersey vote section. Later...

I've gotten a reply from Marcy S, but she hasn't said whether or not I can give you guys an update. I'm waiting for a reply on the subject. I will tell you she is alive and well.

dirtsqueezer 05-03-02 03:21 PM

I'm still around. Ski season kept me off the bike forums and I was spending waaaay too much time on the 'puter anyhow. Good to be missed. Thanks for the PM Fubar5!

cycletourist 05-03-02 04:25 PM

I have lost the BicycleForum.com database which contained 2000+ members and their email addresses. I swear I burned it onto a CD for future reference but I just can't find it anywhere. I hope it is not lost forever.

RE: how's the hands-

the hands are better but I still have to be careful how much time I spend on the computer. I check email every day and spend a few minutes here and over at ebay. That adds up to about 15 minutes a day which is about all I can safely handle.

ljbike 05-04-02 01:11 AM

I think he said , he will check his e-mail every so often and would answer if he thought it important.
