Across fours forums I've posted a question about Rolf Prima Echelon SL wheels and despite over 200 reads not a single comment. Are the wheels that bad or just so rare nobody's uses them?

Sorry, here is the best response I have for you: I don't know those wheels.
Keep fishing. Maybe try the road or MTB forum (as the case might be)?

Damn, they look nice, but eight double spokes? Under my 205 lbs. I'd worry that they'd fold up on me faster than Superman on laundry day.

Rolf wheels, and paired spoke wheels in general, just haven't caught on. Trek seems to like them though since some older Trek bikes used to come with Rolf wheels. Then Trek replaced the Rolf arrangment with Bontrager.
I think most people see no adavnatge to paired spokes and question their durability. There just are too many proven alternatives out there.

the cycling community is rightfully treating Rolf wheels like overly drunk and obnoxious moviegoers in a crowded theatre - amusing for a brief moment, now everyone wishes they would just go away.

Bike Forums isn't the only place on the internet. If only there was a way to find info from all around the internet...hmm...let's try this...

pacificaslim, I take it that was an attempt to be clever. Best bit of advice I ever had was along the lines of ..... if you think you just had an original thought, maybe you should leave it to others...

I have a paired-spoke Velocity wheel on the front of this bike. 20 spokes should be plenty on a 20 inch wheel.

Apparently you're a big fan of "leaving it to others," such as leaving it to us to research the details of a set of wheels for you.
