Bizarre Bike Dream...
Ok maybe its because its "Supersale" time at work, or because I just went on a ride... or whatever... but I had the strangest bike dream I've ever had last night... something like this...
I found a "Peugeot Carbolite 103" in a dumpster. It was green and lugged. I dont even know if a bike like this exists. Anyways I hop on, and notice it has Campy Centaur cranks and a Shimano 600 headset. I get on the bike and ride it back to my apartment, where I then unfold the rear basket (that wasn't there before) and load in my Paramount roadbike and my Specialized Stumpjumper. I then ride the bike with both others on the back to the shop where they show me the top tube on the Pug is severed. While its on the stand I pull the Centaur cranks only to find its using a Truvativ Ti ISIS BB (now you KNOW I was dreaming ), so I then pull all that and put it on my Paramount.
Anyone else with wierd bike dreams?

I was racing a viper...and won...given my bikes and their not being high end, or even road bikes, that makes it all the more humerous....then addin 230lb fat guy riding it, and you got a recipe for waking up laughing....even if it's at yourself

I once had a very memorable dream about riding in a pro peloton. I was in a large bunch, rolling at speed on a flat course reminescent of a spring race like Leige-Bastogne-Leige. What was particularly memorable was feeling the wind in my hair and hearing the singing sound of a large number of tubular equipped bikes.
We cornered gracefully on some big, sweeping curves with the attendant beautiful scenery whizzing past and all in all the whole experience was extremely pleasant.
What always puzzles me about dreams is their "production quality". Some dreams, like the one above, have all the special effects of a George Lucas creation, while others seem to have been created with a crummy camera and poor lighting.
