New bike rack

I ordered a trailer hitch mounted bike rack. Along with the assembly
direction was a suggestion that I use a 72 inch tie to secure the bikes together against the rack.
Does anyone have any ideas what im going to need and where to get it

What type of rack did you buy? I have a Thule hitch rack that come with stabilizer mechanisms that keep the bikes from swaying back and forth. The only thing I need to tie back is the front wheels. I just use a bungy cord for for the wheels.
