bike frame scratch

I found a scratch on my bike frame probably when I fell off my bike. I can see the metal. Will that make it rust? Should I just leave it alone or what?

It'll only rust if it's steel. (Put some touch up paint or fingernail polish on it.)

+1 on the fingernail polish. I found the perfect shade of red in the makeup section of Walgreen's for my Kona Jake.

Your Cannondale is aluminum, so don't worry about it. If it bothers you, you can search for some fingernail polish like the above posters said.

They graded the road so theres no more pot holes. I rode for a little bit and the ride felt alot better. Tomorrow I will ride the most I can.

for a super simple solution, clear nail polish will fill the scratch to keep out rust/corrosion and while the scratch will still show, it wont have ugly non-matching paint. But with all the colors out there, you can probably match it close get a fine paint brush instead of what comes with the nail polish though... they make TINY paint brushes!
