Cleaning bike after ride

Hello,
I took my bike into the shop for a Spring tune-up and now it is really clean. I'd like to keep it that way and wipe it down after every ride.

What do you use to clean the bike after riding to get the dirt and grim off the frame and crank?

Thanks in advance.

dawn dish soap & water.
simple green on the tough stuff.
also, it was very nice of that shop to clean your bike. a lot of them just wipe the chain off and adjust from there.

I actually want to be able to carry a spray bottle of something with me in the car so I can wipe the bike right down after the ride. Dawn is probably not a good idea for that purpose. Maybe some diluted simple green?

RE: bike - Cosmic Wheel where I take my bike is a great shop. They are honest and always give the extra mile.
