    Left leg more sore then right leg

    My left legs gets more sore then my right leg. I think its because my left leg is my kicking leg. How do you pedal evenly for both legs? My left legs wants to move the pedals more then my rigt leg.

    Can you consciously try to put more power into your right stroke and less into your left? Or, do some strengthening exercises for your right leg?

    If you ride clipless, you might spend some time using one leg at a time. Same distance on each leg, or maybe slightly more on the weak one. You might even discover that you are not pedaling as smoothly as you thought you were.
    Some people are like a Slinky ... not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs.

    Mine get sore one at a time. Its weird, I'll do some hard sprints one day and my right leg will be more sore for a few day. A week later I'll do some more fast pace riding and the other leg might be more sore. You might be using the dominant leg harder on its down stroke. Over compensate and put a little more power into the other leg, to hopefully even out the legs over time.

    Could have a muscle imbalance. Might want to do some single-legged exercises to balance things out.

    I was starting to notice the same after longer rides - my right leg would get tired/sore before my left.

    At the gym, tested things out doing some single legged stuff - and my right would feel tired/exhausted a bit before my left. Going to start working on balancing things out over the next few weeks.

    I am glad that my legs get sore or cramp at different times. When I do get a leg cramp and I'm still 10 miles from home, my other leg gets most of the work and the cramped one only gets a light load.
    I don't do vintage, I bought them new, rode them, kept them. Now they are just old bikes

    Your kicking leg will always be stronger, so will react differently. Mine is also the left, and I have the extra 'challenge' of the left leg being an inch or so shorter than the right. My answer has always been a long, slow, stretch.
