I may be in the minority, but it's not that great of a program. Sure you can see him fiddling with a millimeter adjustment here and there, but it's not that exciting. And they repeat things over and over. You might be missing out, but you're not missing much.

I agree... it's fun to watch.. but not the most exciting television... I thought they rambled on like a bunch of frat guys last night waiting for coffeee to brew... I though Chris Carmichael was gonna explode !

you may wanna check and see if someone posted it up on Kazaa, or any of those type sites

The show is nothing special to watch. I wish it would show more of how Lance trains but I guess that would be a real boring show. I would love it.

yeah it's nothing special though I do tune it in. Obviously OLN is hyping Lance an the TdF. They might not have Lance next year and without him who will watch the TdF here?

The first episode was the best, with all the wind tunnel testing and development of his equipment. Since then, my overriding impression of Lance's life has been, well, it's just not that exciting. He rides, he hangs out, he seems to make an awful lot of commercials. Hopefully things will get more interesting when we see him reconnoiter some of the Tour stages.

Chris Carmichael is such a fat pig and now annoying as hell. Maybe they should have a "Chris Chronicles" and we can watch him pound down Powerbars and talk about how his brilliant training program made Lance the man he is today.

Phew, I thought I was the only one that thought the Lance Chronicles was a bit boring. It is not a bad show, but I just don't find press conferences, photo shoots, fancy hotels, watching Lance practice, and Lance kissing Sheryl Crow, very interesting.

Sheesh, I belive Carmichael was a pretty good rider in his day....how come you dislike him so much? Jealousy perhaps?

In 1999, Carmichael was awarded the prestigious United States Olympic Committee's Coach of the Year Award as well as the Cycling Coach of the Year Award. In 1997, Carmichael consulted with various companies within the cycling and fitness industries. Also in 1997, he joined the Union Cycliste Internationale, the international governing body for cycling headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, as Olympic Solidarity Coaching Instructor. He is an educator of coaches in economically disadvantaged countries.

From 1990 to 1997, Carmichael worked for USA Cycling in Colorado Springs, Colo. as National Coaching Director. He served as the road cycling coach for the 1992 Olympics and as head coach during the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, GA where US Cyclists took home three medals. He also coached several World Championships teams. Athletes under his direction have won 33 Olympic, World Championships and Pan American Games medals. In 1996, Carmichael directed "Project '96," USA Cycling's state-of-the-art technology project. During his tenure at USA Cycling, he created the coaching education program, a certification program designed to educate and develop cycling coaches. A member of the 1984 U.S. Olympic Cycling Team, Carmichael was part of the first American team to ride in the Tour de France in 1986. He was a member of the U.S. national Cycling Team from 1978-1984. Carmichael also serves on the Coaches Advisory Committee for the Positive Coaching Alliance as well as serving on the USOC/USA Cycling Elite Athlete Task Force.

I think the Chronicles are pretty good for what they are. How often do you get to see much at all about cycling? If it wasn't for OLN it would be NADA. Enjoy it for what it is....lots better than Gilligans Island re-runs. However, I like MaryAnn.

Personally, I really thought they were going to go into the training aspect of Lance- lots of talk about his training, his new bikes, how he views his competitors, what he eats, previews of his races, etc. Instead, there's about 25% of the show dedicated to that, and the rest of it is rambling... stuff. I find the training aspect fascinating, and that's why I tuned in, but I tuned out pretty quickly after I figured out how little of it was actually dedicated to that aspect of Lance. The other aspects of Lance they chose to preview I found 100% worthless. I think this mosquito bite I've been scratching for the past hour was about 10% more exciting than what they previewed with the other 75% of the Chronicles. Seriously, I hope OLN takes a step back and listens to the complaints and criticisms of the viewers and revamps the show (that is, if they choose to do it again next year).

I'm still waiting on the IMAX movie with Tyler Hamilton. Now that looks to be fascinating stuff.

I agree a portion of the show should be the everyday stuff. But the bulk of the show should be training. The most interesting part of the shows have been that. Not Sheryl Crow doing laundry, or a crazed fan banging on the team bus for an autograph, or him making coffee.

I want to see how he prepares for July. Maybe he does not want to give away any secrets (he is that anal about stuff that I could see that being the reason). The show should be how he trains to be the elite athlete he is. That is what cyclists would want to see.

We hate his humility and his willingness to let his work stand on its own without endless self-promotion.
