Yeah. She makes a decent place to park your bike. :D

Well done to Astra for finding the babe of the moment..

Miss Le Caer used to be a top Junior French MTB downhiller...not too sure what she's upto now.

I'm actually quite disappointed that our female compatriots haven't risen to the challenge. What, no one like the Lion King?

chewa 03-14-02 07:26 AM

I'm just surprised that no one was peaked by my reference to a (male) TdeF rider who I hear is now a babe!

Actually, my responses have all been covered already!

(Although some of you could do with pulling your tongue back in and wiping up the drool... Not very attractive now, is it?!! )

Astra 03-14-02 08:17 AM

I vote for Ellie :D !

I would if I actually knew anything about pro cyclists.

I really liked the pictures though. Wow. It's cool to see women with such nice muscles...ones that actually get used.

The "Luna Chix" article in today's Union Tribune seems appropos:

An interesting article on
Ms Streb:

There's obviously a lack of women specific cycling clothes out there.

I nominate the Mother Superior of Triathletes:

"Sister Madonna Buder, competing in her 11th Subaru Ironman
Canada also bettered her own mark in the 70+ age group. Buder
finished the 2001 event in 14:46:21, topping her own mark from the year before by almost 50 minutes. Buder holds the age group
records at Subaru Ironman Canada in three different age divisions (60-64, 65-69 and 70+), an amazing feat."

Buder is so good that she routinely beats the men in her age group. "I don't know how many men out there just seem to focus on me," she says. "I'm like their carrot on the stick. It's like they got to get her, got to get her. They just don't want to lose to the nun."

[... particularly after her serious crash in a 2000 ironman.]

"Sister?" Did you say, "sister?"

It figures the pinnacle of babe-i-tude would already be married!
