Looking for a relatively quiet trainer under ~$125

hi there -
does anyone know of a trainer that doesn't make too much noise when in use? What about the Minoura M60-D? Or any other Minouras? All suggestions welcome -
Thanks-
rachel

I have an older Cyclops mag trainer. The Minoura looks a lot like many mag trainers. Most mag trainers aren't very noisy. Most of the noise is from the rear wheel wind noise, tire rubbing on the roller, and pedaling.
If you live in an apartment the folks living below you will know when you're riding the trainer. They'll be knocking on your door 2 minutes after you start riding. Putting the trainer and bike on a mat will reduce the noise level.

One thing that also works is those Conti trainer tires. This winter a buddy and I did weekend trainer rides and I had one of these tires and he had an old road tire. We both had Cyclops fluid trainers and his was far noisier than mine was.
