Greatest bike name EVER...

To give some background, there is a Shogun "Prarie Breaker I" sitting at our shop right now for service. I love the bike for a couple reasons.

1st, the enviromentalists must love it. I think they should just call it the Erosion Master or Baby Seal Clubber while they are at it.

2nd, its a goofy looking generic 1980's bike boom Engrish bike as I like to call them.

3rd, as a coworked pointed out, whats scariest is if there is a Prarie Breaker I, then that means there were MORE Prarie Breakers. This is where it gets good...

While scouring ebay today, for something completely different, I came across a Prarie Breaker II!!

Ah I'm probably the only one that finds this funny, but sadly I have nothing else better to do with a broken collarbone.

I like my Cove Stiffee! I like the look on peoples faces when I tell them I rode mah Stiffee all the way into work! :D

Here are some other rather objectionable frame names

-cove -
"Handjob"
"Stiffee"
"foreplay"
"g-spot"

actually I think Cove has the marketplace for extremely suggestive frame names covered. Sometimes I wonder about these guys....maybe everyone who buys em paints em over....I wouldnt want to ride around a bike with the word handjob on it :(

Anyone remember the Kona Sex One?

I wanted one!

Ibis always had cool names, such as the Hakkalugi.

I can dig all the "Cute" or "Clever" names that are meant to appeal to kids and adults alike but to me a thread with the title, "Greatest bike name EVER... ", should be about Great names NOT just Funny names.

My entries-

Rivendell Rambouillet (very classy & noble)

Rivendell Redwood (for tall riders... what a great name)

Bike Friday (very cool)

Dawes Super Galaxy (tell me that doesn't work up images of travelling)

Kabuki Submariner (yeah!)

Breezer ('nuff said for a cyclist)

Bruce Gordon Rock N Road (again, it says it all)

Surly Long Haul Trucker (great clever name for a touring bike)

and last-->>

For the clever & cute

Surly Karate Monkey

yeah...I would be half tempted to get the stiffee frame for that reaosn....for some reason sainyg "well I had some fun playing with my g-spot today" just seems wrong on so many levels....might be due ot me being a guy and all.

Crotch Rocket (Light-weight aluminum framed mtn bikes from the mid-80's / mine's now a single speed), Phobia (I have the "Anxiety" model), and the American Bicycle Company's "M-16" should be mentioned (And Banshee's "Scream" isn't bad).

PS: What's a "prarie"? The color is not even close to "Celeste"! I never did get "Bike Friday"?!

There's a bike in the UK called D.O.G.Z.B.O.L.X

To call something the Dog's Bollocks is to call it something very good indeed.

I've always liked the Mantis Flying V... so named because the monocoque frame resembled the guitars of the Flying V name... especially with the cable runs.
