Hey gang, just need a little advice on a design I'm working on for a shirt. Tell me what you like or dislike about it before I go further! Thanks a million.

I like it! Curious why you've gone against the norm and made a woman the Captain. Also why a MTB tandem? It this a shirt that will be available to purchase some day?

Hey NR , just have the picture of the bike only .. the stick figures do not look good ! , a bike only makes more of a statememt , my 2c .....:)

ok well I put the female at front because it doesn't really work when the guy is at front (thinking in terms of 'riding'). It's a MTB tandem because I race mt bikes and know a lot of riders that ride tandem. They are pretty sick. heh and yes, I'd like to print these up sometime (mainly on baby doll tees for women, hence the girl at front), however printing them up on tees for anyone would fly also. Perhaps stickers.

To answers buddy's question. If I just had the bike only, it would defeat the purpose of the catch phrase at the bottom. Riding Tandem.. only way to ride. Think in terms of riding in general. :-)

I kind of like the stick figures, though it looks like the stoker is reaching out for a grab... and who could blaome him with Corine Dorland as captain... oops... waitaminnit... I was drifting there...

My main design concern, though, is that I don't think the bike is as abstract as the figures. If you're going to have both, you might consider simplifying and abstracting the bike a bit -- eliminate the spoke [you can't see them when the bike is moving, anyway], reduce the amount of frame tubing... that kind of thing.

I got the idea EXACTLY that you're trying for here...I like it of course I am a little bit of a weirdo too

I would buy one for sure, and I don't even ride tandem

Nice job, let us know if you go to print with these and put my name on the list

I picked up a t-shirt in Moab 4 - 5 years ago... "Ride nekkid, its harder then it looks." :)

Good luck on the design, the world needs more cycling t-shirts!

Yeah I know what you mean. I was going to have more of a realistic figure although keep the sillouette feel of it. I don't want to touch the bike because it took me quite some time to get the specs right. Maybe I can get a shot of a rider in the same positions while being backlit so I can capture their sillouette that way I can just convert it in Illustrator. I think the legs get lost in the frame. Maybe having body outlined in white like the helmet.

Right on, that's exactly what I'm looking for in a response. I don't ride tandem (bikes) either, but it doesn't really matter! :-)

I'll work more on it and keep everyone updated.
